Stringerless EPS/epoxy midlength single fin...

Ace of Hearts is a thin, wide, and flat rockered parallel profile singlefin with the wide point forward, and is a part of the Aces quiver which includes the Ace of Diamonds in blue shown earlier.

Here the perfectly blended curves with 'boat tail' and 'bullet nose' can be seen. Just in case you are wondering this particular piece is sold for an undisclosed sum.

Boat tails use buoyant lift as well as planing lift

Single fin Midlength

A singlefin surfboard with the wide point forward  The image shows Roy Stuart pouring fluoro green resin on the softly rounded tail of a singlefin midlength surfboard design. The tail has a slight ridge right at the trailing edge consistent with Displacement theory. Similarly, the rails are soft to accomodate the lifting and sinking of the tail The surfboard is an example of seventies singles design which is becoming more mainstream. Compare with Reno Abillera, Jerry Lopez, Ben Aipa surfboards.

Dimensions: 8ft x 23" Materials: EPS foam/epoxy resin/10 oz glass
In some lights the fluoro colour looks sky blue

Traditional Hawaiian lines

Lowered deck with constant camber rails and the colour deciding to take on a retro avocado hue.

The softness belies the speed
