The witch doctor asymmetrical surfboard
A trend in surfboard design is to make asymmetrical designs. If one uses a sideways stance, then one's body is effectively not symmetrical. The feet only face forward after all. This board is my second goofy design. The idea is that the backside rail needs more curve than the frontside. This session is my first surf on the board, and I think the design has promise.

Hi Scott, yes the backhand turns are much more lively, the forehand is more drawn out. The forehand side is only 9 inches wide whereas the backhand is 13.5" so there's a big difference. More testing needed. I've dropped the fin size down to 7.5" and the fin leading edge is 29" up from the tail, with no issues so you could be right she might go well with no fin.
Looks pretty maneuverable! Do you notice a lot of difference in your offside turns? That long tail looks interesting... almost don't need a fin.
