Roy: can a traditional stance be used on your surfboards?

Any stance can be used,  I use both a relatively forward stance and a sideways stance. My stance is as traditional as any other, and it's not uncommon at present either.

The key is to work within the 'sweet' area, which is more concentrated and central than on mainstream longboards. Longer heavier boards which are well balanced having a more central riding position tend to favour a narrow stance also.

Steve you'll find your own way, if your current methods need to change slightly that will happen naturally and you won't necessarily stand the way I do. I've seen a lot of people ride the Ghost 13 which is a similar board and there were different styles used.
